Following the end of his ten-year stint as the star of the Harry Potter movies, Daniel Radcliffe has moved to the stage.
The 21-year-old Brit has been cast in the starring role of J. Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway musical, “How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying)”. The play follows J. Pierrepont Finch on his climb up the corporate ladder from window-cleaner to Vice President of Advertising at the World Wide Wicket Company. He quickly earns promotions and outsmarts competition by strictly following advice given in the book, “How to Succeed in Business.”
His critically-acclaimed performance in the Harry Potter movies seems impossible to trump. However, the original 1961 play won 7 Tony Awards and a Grammy for Best Original Cast Show Album. The play is set to debut on March 27, 2011 at Broadway’s Al Hirschfield Theatre.
