In honor of Hello Kitty’s 40th birthday, Target is sponsoring Hello Kitty Con, the first-ever convention dedicated entirely to Hello Kitty! Stars including Olivia Holt and Kat McNamara attended the opening party!

Hello Kitty turned 40 on October 29, National Cat Day. The same night was the Hello Kitty Con Opening Night Party, where Girl Vs. Monster costars Olivia Holt and Kat McNamara reunited to celebrate the legacy of Hello Kitty!

Hello Kitty Con festivities are being held at the Green Contemporary at MOCA in downtown Los Angeles until November 2.

Since Target is sponsoring the event, a Sanrio-style drawing and plush doll of the Target mascot, Bullseye the bull terrier, are central to the new convention!
