With a punchy hip-hop track, "Hit the Floor," tripleS's new subunit Visionary Vision has arrived, breaking stereotypes as they demonstrate their resilience.

The 12-member subunit—consisting of HyeRin, YooYeon, Kaede, SoHyun, Lynn, JiYeon, NaKyoung, YuBin, Kotone, YeonJi, Nien and Xinyu—released their debut mini-album Performante on Oct. 23, let by the single "Hit the Floor." This unique K-pop unit stands out from the previous extensions of tripleS due to their focus on dance and performance, as demonstrated in "Hit the Floor"'s striking music video.

The track employs classic hip-hop sounds and styles throughout the music and accompanying visuals. With bejeweled teeth, baggy clothing and sports caps, the girls pay homage to the genre with their stylish flair against various backdrops, enticing viewers with their remarkable dance skills. Sweety High had the opportunity to chat with a few of the Visionary Vision members to get the scoop about their mini-album and their sentiments about the release. Read the interview below.

SH: Can you provide insights into the album and the process behind preparing for promotions?

YuBin: Since we're a dance-oriented unit, we focused heavily on performance. We made a lot of adjustments to the choreography, constantly thinking about how we could deliver more energy. Our dance choreographer also worked hard to help us bring out our best.

SH: Being the first dance-centered unit, how will you use that to stand out from the other tripleS units?

YooYeon: What sets us apart from other tripleS units is that we focus on performance as much as possible. You can say that Visionary Vision is the unit that maximized the dance and looks of the members!

SH: Which track from your mini-album captures the spirit of Visionary Vision the most?

JiYeon: I believe "Hit the Floor" captures the spirit of Visionary Vison the best. The song conveys a strong message of breaking stereotypes and proving ourselves by standing up, no matter how many times we fall. The fusion of boom bap and high-tech dance, along with lyrics like "We run against the storm (바람 뚫고 우린 달려가)" and "We light up the stage (무대 위에 우린 빛을 내)" perfectly reflect the high-performance nature of Visionary Vision, making "Hit the Floor" the song that embodies Visionary Vision's spirit the most.

SH: Can you describe the unique style of Visionary Vision?

Lynn: Our album is titled Performante, which means "high performance" in Italian. It reflects the members' ambition to showcase tripleS's unique high performance.

SH: What goals are you aiming to accomplish with your debut?

HyeRin: tripleS' goal is to showcase our fresh charms and skills as we break stereotypes about girls.

SH: What message do you want your fans to take from this mini-album?

Kotone: I want to show everything I've always wanted to. And I hope fans can see Kotone in her element as I grow.
