A Definitive Ranking of Starbucks’ Holiday Menu Items
You know the Christmas season is officially here when Starbucks drops their holiday menu. On Nov. 7, the iconic coffee company brought back some of its familiar favorites—like the Ice Sugar Cookie Latte and the Gingerbread Latte—and some exciting new offerings, such as the Turkey Sage Danish.
We had the chance to try out a few offerings from the menu. We've gathered our honest thoughts into this definitive ranking of their holiday items to make your next Starbies run a little easier.
9. Turkey Sage Danish
We had high hopes for the Turkey Sage Danish. Many people called it one of the best from Starbucks in years. However, it fell flat for us. It might've been our café, but the turkey tasted gamey. It's a shame, because the seasoning was delicious.
8. Chestnut Praline
Some of us at Sweety High aren't the biggest fans of nutty flavors. That said, the Chestnut Praline still impressed us. It tastes better than expected with its slight caramel notes. But there are other flavors from the holiday menu we crave more.

7. Gingerbread
We thought gingerbread would rank high on our list. After all, it's a classic holiday flavor. Yes, it's yummy, but it's more spicy than sweet, and we like our drinks to be more like a tasty vanilla dessert than turning up the heat with spices.
6. Snowman Cake Pop
As much as we love the Starbucks cake pops, we know there isn't anything unique about them. Unsurprisingly, the holiday Snowman Cake Pop is a simple vanilla cake with chocolate icing. Nothing is bad about it, but nothing to write home about either.
5. Dark Toffee Bundt
Now, we're getting into their best items. The Dark Toffee Bundt has a slightly earthy flavor with chocolatey caramel tones. It feels like the epitome of Christmas at Grandma's house. It gets even more fun with its festive red-and-green sprinkles! However, it is sweet, so we can't eat it too often.
4. Cran-Merry Orange
Cranberry is the most underrated flavor for the holidays. As people who recognize its bright taste, we were excited to see Starbucks unveil its Cran-Merry flavor, doubled with sweet orange notes. It didn't disappoint—it's tart and sweet. Sadly, it has caffeine, so we don't order it as often as we'd like to.

3. Sugar Cookie
Sugar cookie is one of those flavors we see more often as every year passes, but we're not mad at it. Starbucks' Sugar Cookie Latte is a prime example of what makes it so good—it's like vanilla in its peak form, enhancing even the most bitter coffee.
2. Sugar Plum Cheese Danish
We've been waiting for the Vanilla Bean Danish to return this winter since we tried it for the first time this January. As we await its hopeful comeback in a few months, we've tided ourselves over with the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish. It's got tangy fruit preservatives over a creamy cheese spread that will have you singing to the heavens.
1. Caramel Brûlée
If anyone sits anything caramel-flavored in front of us, we go berserk. Starbucks' Caramel Brûlée is no exception because it contains our second favorite dessert, a brûlée. This flavor is salty and sweet (a godsend combination) and works well in everything, from coffee to steamers and Frappuccinos.
