Everything You Wanted to Know About Prolific Voice Over Actor Aleks Le
Chances are that if you're into anime or video games, you've heard the work of prolific voice actor Aleks Le.
He's lent his voice to animations in everything from the English dubs of Dandadan, Sakamoto Days and Solo Leveling to Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and games including Street Fighter 6 and Date Everything!, with 175 credits to his name and counting. Next up, you'll also be able to hear him in the English version of Ne Zha II, the highest-grossing animated film of all time. 1. Aleks's love of voice acting is rooted in his passion for storytelling:
"As a kid, I was really into drawing, and I wanted to make comics or manga and just tell stories. But later on, when I was a teen, I got really into movies, games and TV, and I realized that acting was a really good way to tell stories and embody a lot of stories as well."

2. He's found a lot of satisfaction and pride in all of the work he's done so far as a voice actor.
"As far as the specific viewer roles that I'm most excited or proud of, I am really into everything I work on! But the ones that stand out to me, or are the most memorable to me, are the roles where I got to have a lot of creative freedom in the process of crafting the character. So roles like Song Jinu in Solo Leveling, or Luke from Street Fighter 6, those two are the ones I can think of off the top of my head where I was really deep in the creative process, and it left a huge impression on me."

3. Aleks voices Ao Bing in the English dub of Ne Zha II, the highest-grossing movie of 2025, which hits theaters in the U.S. on Aug. 22.
"To be lending my voice to Ne Zha II is really cool! Just to be in the same cast as Michelle Yeoh and have a movie on your resume that's under the moniker of A24 is massive! Also, to be a part of such a beautiful and amazing film is an honor for sure."

4. He says he couldn't live without the Gmail app.
"I answer and send about 100 emails every single day, and I'm always on Gmail trying to get stuff done."

"My favorite superhero is, well obviously Batman and Spider-Man are top two, for sure, but not including them, I'm also a huge fan of other quirky characters like Plastic Man, and I really enjoyed watching the Teen Titans. Oh, Flash, actually. The Flash is definitely top three for me!"

"Some of the best and most memorable fan encounters are when people approach me and bring their pets that are dressed up and cosplaying my characters! They are really cute!"

"I can also throw the discus as well. I used to do track and field, so I can throw it pretty far."

11. Asked to share a boring fact about himself, Aleks opened up about his wellness journey.
"A boring fact about me is that I've been trying actively to lose weight and get healthier for the last six years, and I've made zero progress. Because every time I have done a really good job, I immediately start slacking off, and I get extremely incredibly unfit and lazy again almost immediately."

12. One of the most important things to Aleks is to always give his work everything he's got.
"The one thing that's core to me as a person that I want my fans to know is that I am a little obsessive with what I do, and because of that I'm super tired and always very out of it, and also very quiet most of the time. So if you ever see me in person, and I'm very, very quiet, don't take any offense to that, because I 100% appreciate you, but I'm just very, very tired. 😴😄"
