Dancer, Model and Actress Amelie Anstett on the Importance of Commitment and Gratitude

Dancer, model, actress and YouTube content creator Amelie Anstett is the definition of a quadruple-threat, and she's dedicated to every endeavor she sets her mind to.

The Chicken Girls actress has also shared the stage with the likes of Justin Bieber and JoJo Siwa as a dancer—and even then, she's only just getting started. Amelie truly does it all, and we got the chance to ask her about the projects she's most passionate about, and what makes all of the hard work totally worth it.

Sweety High: As a dancer, model, actress and YouTube content creator, you must be super busy. What are your favorite aspects of each of those jobs? Is there one that you love doing above all of the rest?

Amelie Anstett: Ooh, what a fun question. Being able to pursue my passion as a career is something that I cherish every day. My favorite aspects of these jobs are the fact that I get to meet and become friends with so many amazing individuals who inspire me daily. To be honest, I actually don't have a favorite out of all of them. Of course dance will always have a super special place in my heart because it's how I got into the business. However, I love them all equally.

SH: Where are all of the places we can catch your work at the moment? What roles are you most passionate about?

AA: You can catch my work throughout different platforms including YouTube, Amazon, Hulu, Instagram Reels, TikTok, IGTV and more. I am passionate about every role and opportunity that I am given, because without passion, it would be hard to bring the character of each piece of work to life.

SH: Can you tell us a bit about your work with Elev8hope? Why is that an organization you're proud to work with?

AA: Yes of course!! The main charity I support and love helping is Elev8hope in my local town, run by the amazing, strong, inspiring woman Rina Shpiruk. Elev8hope is a non-profit organization that focuses on bettering the community and helping anyone in need, no matter the circumstances. They truly work miracles, and I am so grateful I get to support and uplift our community.

SH: If you had to pick one moment as the highlight of your career so far, what would that be?

AA: Dancing with Justin Bieber on his Purpose World Tour was one of the best moments in my career and it helped launch me into the business. He is such a special soul and person and gives such great advice and guidance. A huge humbling inspiration.

Landing Sadie on Chicken Girls was also a huge highlight of my career. I had been watching Chicken Girls since it started, and becoming a part of the Brat Chicken Girls family has been a very special experience. The memories and friendships that have flourished from it are timeless.

SH: What is the toughest thing about your line of work? What's the most rewarding?

AA: There are so many things that make me feel so humbled being in this line of work. However, I think the most rewarding thing is waking up and seeing my DMs and comments that say I have impacted someone's life. Seeing that I can help people be happy or find themselves without even fully knowing them is something I cherish every day. Having my platform, I want to use it to do just that—make people happy and let them know that I support them just as much as they support me. When it comes to being in the business however, there are a lot of rejections and no's, which is sometimes really hard, but you have to remember everything happens for a reason.

SH: Do you have any advice for people who admire you and want to accomplish the things you have?

AA: What an amazing question. I think that the biggest advice I could give to anyone is to commit. Commit to your goals and accomplish them. Don't just wish to make them happen, and always, always "be original."

SH: Is there anything else you'd like to add?

AA: I feel so incredibly grateful to every day be able to wake up and use my platform to make people happy and try to help brighten people's day. I feel like there are so many movements I would love to start. I believe that our generation can do so much. With social media being so instant and helping people be more transparent, we have the opportunities to express a tremendous amount of things. I think it's extremely important to be happy in life and focus on positivity. Being happy and positive usually brings back happy and positive things. A movement I would love to focus on is making people happy, to have fans express how they feel and what they are going through, so that I and others can find ways to help them be happy. And to see that sometimes there needs to be bad to make good, that good things are always right around the corner if you focus on what makes you smile and happy.
