Artist: Cassy London
New single: "Rabbit Hole"
What it means to Cassy: "It's one of my favorite songs on the album. The theme behind it is choice. Choice is a huge thing for me, because it gives people the opportunity to say no. It's important for us women to know that if we feel like we're being mistreated or if we feel like it's not the right situation, we have the choice to walk away from it. That's what 'Rabbit Hole' is really about. It's not about being upset or fearful or angry, but about knowing you're independent enough to move on with your own life from that type of situation."
Biggest influences: "It's hard to pick one, but I would definitely say I'm a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac—Stevie Nicks especially. Oh, and P!nk. I love her!"
Dream venue: "Staples Center. It's close to home, so I know everybody would show up to that."
Dream collab: "Gwen Stefani. I've always loved her vibe. She's really edgy and cool."
Fave song: " 'Cake by the Ocean' by DNCE. It's always stuck in my head."
Dream tour: "P!nk, obviously. I'd like to tour with Katy Perry, too. I love her theatrical production and cool costumes, so that'd be really fun. And probably Justin Timberlake. I grew up listening to him and I love how fresh his sound is now. He's cute, too."
What's to come from Cassy: "I'm finally putting out a full body of work with my album Realm, so this is the opportunity for people to really get to know me. I want to do a big summer tour next year, too."
