As you celebrate true Swiftie independence, consider soundtracking the moment with this short but sweet playlist of Taylor's music.

'Better Than Revenge'

While Taylor remained mostly faithful to the original version of her tracks, "Better Than Revenge" was one of the few that received a lyric change. In case you missed it, she made one of the lyrics less shameful to the woman and, instead, redirected her anger to the heartbreaking guy. That said, there are moments when we all have that irrational, misdirected anger as Taylor felt in the OG "BTR." Now, you can stream it with ease, knowing you won't support stolen work.

'Style'

Of any Taylor's Version, Swifties have felt that 1989 received the most dramatic switch from its 2014 production. Honestly, we can't put our finger on it, but we know the original version is far superior. The guitars, synths and drums are so much more crisp. When Taylor announced the news, you can bet we ran to our streaming service to listen to the song again for the first time in years.

'Girl at Home'

"Girl at Home" got a total pop remix on Red (Taylor's Version). Don't get us wrong. We love it. However, there is something that feels so raw and youthful about the more acoustic version. Each has a time and place, but the older format hasn't had a chance to shine in more than five years.

'Getaway Car'

Taylor's letter proved that Reputation was, in fact, the friends we made along the way. The whole album escaped in a getaway car since we will never get the re-recorded version. That said, you can stream the sixth album without guilt, and you have to start with the very iconic, cult-favorite track, "Getaway Car."

'Picture to Burn'

In a roundabout way, Taylor laid out her plans for his re-recording era in "Picture to Burn": "There's no time for tears/ I'm just sitting here planning my revenge/ There's nothing stopping me." Sadly, we won't get the Taylor's Version of the song. But it's almost like poetic that her revenge was never having to re-release it at all.

'Love Story'

Way back in 2021, "Love Story" was the first song that kicked off Taylor's re-recording era, followed by the full release of Fearless (Taylor's Version). Relive the epic saga with the OG version that catapulted Taylor into mainstream stardom. For extra nostalgia, watch the music video where she transforms into Juliet Capulet.

'Mine'

It's bittersweet to know the Taylor's Version era is complete, but we are even happier to know she owns her music again. These albums "are the best thing that's ever been mine." Close out your listening party with this full-circle song on Speak Now. Now, who is ready for TS12?
