6 Things You Should Know About Haunted Hathaways' Curtis Harris

Curtis Harris is a young actor best known for his role as the friendly ghost Miles Preston on Nickelodeon's The Haunted Hathaways. This year, he was also nominated for an NAACP Image Award. In a recent interview, we asked Curtis about the role and nomination and got him to dish on the real Curtis.

If you could talk to anyone's ghost, who would it be?

1. Micheal Jackson. I need to learn how to do those slick moves! He is definitely the best entertainer of all time.

What three things would you bring with you on a desert island?

2. A genie, A mobile McDonald's, and my infinite powered phone.

What five songs would you put on the soundtrack to a movie about your life?

3. "Sweatpants" by Childish Gambino, "I" by Kendrick Lamar, "Juice" by Chance the Rapper,  "Say I Won't" by Lacrae and "Thank Me Now" by Drake.

What one item do you never leave home without?

4. My phone, of course!

Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes in as much detail as possible

5. Kobe 9s boiii. It's a really good basketball shoe that looks like boxing shoes. But you may have seen those on my recent carpets….

What's your strangest phobia?

6. I HATE spiders and bees. If I see any of them you'll probably see me across the street in a blink of an eye.

What exciting new things have been happening on The Haunted Hathaways since we spoke to you last year?

Well I would say the biggest thing was "Mostly Ghostly Girl" and "Haunted Thundermans." Those were both 1-hour episodes and they were awesome. "In Mostly Ghostly," we had to save Frankie from ghost world, and in "Haunted Thundermans" we had to save ourselves from this villain, the Green Ghoul.

What was it like to be nominated for an NAACP Image Award?  

I was so humbled by this nomination. This still means the world to me, because I don't act to win awards, I just do it because I enjoy it more than anything else. So yeah, I was definitely thankful to get recognized for my work, because I do put a lot of time and practice into being my best on screen.
