Demi Lovato is a Fan of Heavy Metal Rock

Disney star Demi Lovato's musical style is strictly pop with some rock influences, but it turns out that Demi herself is a big fan of heavy metal rock.

Demi recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and talked about going to see her favorite metal band the night before: "I went to a rock show last night of one of my favorite bands of all time. I drove an hour out to Pomona to see Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. They're like a hardcore, southern rock, metal band."

Jimmy asked if Demi's boyfriend Joe Jonas is also a fan of heavy metal, but Demi laughed, "Um, you know. I don't really think so. We've talked about it… I played it for him, and he was just like, 'Whoa, that's crazy.'"

Sounds like Joe and Demi don't share the taste in music, but they certainly share the same musical style! The Camp Rock 2 co-stars' new music video for their single "Make a Wave" has just come out.
