7 Signs You Have an Unhealthy Obsession With Disney Princesses

When you think of Disneyland, you think of churros, Mickey Mouse, smiles, and that big, blue, beautiful castle that sits central in the middle of the park, home to none other than Cinderella herself.

Cinderella and her princess tribe are staples among all things Disney, whether you're a teen or you're a mom. Women everywhere are wearing shirts to pay homage to the ladies, but how obsessed is TOO obsessed? We're here to help you decide.

Keep scrolling for seven signs you have an unhealthy obsession with Disney princesses:

1. You Dress Up as Your Favorite Princess

Do you frequent the Target ads to see when costumes are on sale and own every single accessory known to mankind? If you're guilty of this and not ashamed to tell everyone you know (aka flaunt your looks on social media), this a sign you may be a little in too deep.

2. You've Signed-Up to Have a Princess Makeover

There's a place inside Cinderella's castle called the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where they'll literally do your hair and makeup to look like your favorite Disney Princess. If you've elbowed a toddler or two to score your place in line, it's a sign you need to slow your roll.

3. Half Your Wardrobe is Dedicated to the Princesses

Dressing up as the characters is major enough, but on top of all that, if you open your drawers and see every Disney princess staring at you, yelling "pick me!" then the obsession has gotten real. One shirt? Cute. But 10? Too many!

4. You Wait in Line for Photos With the Princesses

Are you the only person over the age of 12 who waits in line with an autograph book for one of your favorite ladies to sign on the dotted line? We respect your enthusiasm, but it may be time to put that book on the shelf.

5. Your Birthday Parties Are Always Princess-Themed

Do your birthdays consist of Disney princess-themed cakes, decorations and goodie bags? Do your pals all know to get you nothing but DP-related gifts? If your interests are this limited, it's time to take a step back and open your mind.

6. You Compare Every Guy You Date to a Disney Prince

We would all love a real-life Prince Charming, but let's be real, nobody's perfect. So if you're holding out for Sleeping Beauty's man, you're going to be waiting a long time. Plus, these guys are taken anyway (but the ladies you idolize!). Focus on finding someone who has similar hobbies and you or makes you laugh.

7. You Only Hang With Other People Who Are Obsessed With Disney Princesses

Have you avoided letting someone into your inner circle because they simply aren't obsessed with Disney princesses? Do you only find yourself "connecting" with girls who know all the words to The Little Mermaid soundtrack? If so, this is a major issue because you're missing out on a bunch of awesome potential friends.
