This Adorable DIY Ring Holder Will Store Your Jewelry in a Personalized Space
Why purchase an expensive jewelry case when you can keep all your rings in an adorable personalized one from home?
For me, it made perfect sense, as I just moved into a new apartment and I want to keep all of my belongings organized to a T.
Gaining visual inspiration from Curly Nat Creations' DIY Etsy shop, I created the most adorable ring holder that allows me to not only have my finger jewelry easily accessible and organized, but it also lets me display it in an accessory of its own!
I know, I know, this adorable lil guy looks like quite the intricate to-do, but it's really quite simple! All you need are the below instructions and the following supplies from Michaels craft store and you're on your way to the cutest ring-holder ever:
- Glue gun
- Clay saucer
- Martha Stewart Crafts Liquid Gilding in gold
- 2oz. Martha Stewart Crafts Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint in Wedding Cake white
- Plastic elephant (or centerpiece of your choice)
Paint the clay saucer and the elephant with Wedding Cake white paint. Let dry. Apply additional coats until the coverage you desire is achieved.
Paint the elephant ears, trunk and tail with the Liquid Gilding and let dry. Then paint gold around the top and side of the saucer.
Apply glue to the bottom of the elephant feet and place it in the center of the saucer, let dry and voila!
If your accessory collection needs some fine-tuning, look no further than THESE unique rings that need to be added to your selection stat.
