8 Useless, But Awesome DIY Slime Recipes

FYI, slime doesn't always equal disgusting.

For those days of summer vacation when you feel like you want to pull your hair out of boredom, why not try these epic DIY slime recipes? Sure they're completely useless, but they're seriously cool to look at. Check out the tutorials below.

1. Color Changing Slime

We tend to dream in shades of pink over here, so this hue-changing magenta slime is the key to our bliss. Heat it up to make it lighter and cool it down to make it darker–simple as that.

2. Galaxy Slime

Because we now know how to do glitter the right way, this sparkly galaxy slime is everything. The tutorial even shows you how to make it into a cool desk decoration. See? Not completely useless.


3. Glow-in-the-Dark Slime

If you haven't experienced fluorescent slime yet, you're missing out. Bust this one out in honor of the Ghostbusters premiere or save it for Halloween, either way, it's rad.
