Emily James' Haircut For a Cause!

When 3-year-old Emily James learned that some kids lose their hair to cancer, she decided to do something about it by donating some of her own hair!

A short video about the experience called "Emily's Hair" documents her experience.

"Sometimes kids get sick, and then their hair falls out," Emily says in the video. "That's really, really sad."

Emily decided that kids shouldn't go without hair, and that her own donation could help out those kids in need.

"I don't want any kids to be sad that they have no hair," she said. "What I wanna do is give them my hair. Because I have long hair, just cut some of the hair off and give it to someone."

She agreed to get her long hair cut, if her doll of Rapunzel from the Disney film Tangled would get her hair cut first!

Emily's uncle Matthew, a hairstylist, agreed to do the cutting. After Rapunzel's haircut, Emily stepped into the barber's chair for her chance to get a cut just like he doll's!

Emily then sent in her cut hair be made into wigs for children with cancer. What a heartwarming and selfless action from a 3-year-old!
