The 6 Things You Have To Know About "Sting" Singer Eric Saade

Singer Eric Saade is already a bestselling album artist in his native Sweden, and his new single "Sting" is helping him make his mark on the U.S. In a new interview, Eric reveals some facts about himself, and tells us what "Sting" is all about!

Who's your biggest musical influence?

1. I don't think anyone is that to be honest! I love listening to a lot of different music. Good music, is good music, no matter what style it is or who made it.

If you could have any meal right now, what would it be?

2. Lebanese food for sure!

What one item do you never leave home without?

3. My phone! Haha

Do you have any secret talents?

4. Haha no I just do some card tricks sometimes on parties! More like a party trick haha!

Is there anything you do before shows for good luck?

5. I actually just jump around like a maniac just before I go on stage, just to get rid of some of the adrenaline! 

What's your favorite guilty pleasure movie?

6. Twilight! Haha

What was the inspiration behind "Sting"? What makes it unique?

I wanted to do pop, but with a lot of character! I wanted it sound cocky but with a feel good vibe.

I love how we turned sting into a pop song with funk influences! That is what I love the most about that song! 

How do you describe the music you make? What types of emotions do you try to evoke in your fans with your music?

My upcoming music will be funky-Pop! Music should make you happy! That's what I think and that's what I always try to reach!

But it's important that the music describes me. I'm a dancer too… So I really want the pop songs to make everyone wanna dance!

What else can we look forward to seeing from you?

I'm working with some new music! So even more new music is what's next!
