5 Signs You and Your BFF Will Be Friends Forever

As with any relationship, some friendships don't always last.

You can be BFFs with someone for a week, a month, a year and as easily as they came into your life, they can leave it.

Wondering if your friendship will stand the test of time? Scroll below for five signs you and your bestie will be friends forever:

1. You Have No Secrets

The two of you know everything there is to know about each other. Everything.

We're not talking about simply knowing their favorite color or their current crush. Oh, no. We mean they've shared with you the deepest, darkest secrets that they would never tell anyone else. You know just what they are.

Because there are no secrets between you, you have a positive stream of communication. You can openly and honestly talk to each other about anything, knowing you won't be judged for what you need to say.

While you may not always like what they have to say, and vice versa, you know it's coming from a place of love, not hate. You both tell it like it is and respect that about one another.

Sure, you've fought, but because you're both solid communicators, you always talk it out before it gets too out of hand.

2. You're a Part of Each Others' Families

You've been to their brother's fifth grade graduation and they've been to your sister's swim conference finals. Literally any important event you can imagine, they've been there for you and your family.

It's gotten to the point where your parents don't feel the need to invite them, because they just assume they'll be coming with you to your next family gathering.

Your parents love them. They love you, too, don't get us wrong, but they adore your BFF because they know they'll always be there for you. It's always a good sign when your parents approve of your friends. And it's even better when they practically consider them a part of the family.

3. You Don't Need to Hang out 24/7

While you're super close with each other and are always talking, you don't need to be by each others' side all the time.

You're both comfortable spending some time away from each other. You know that doesn't mean your friendship is doomed, it only means you two have an unbreakable bond.

Life happens, so when one of you gets really busy and can't hang, you don't get upset. You understand that you can't always physically be in the same place at the same time, but you're in each others' hearts forever. Wow, can we get some chips with that cheese?

4. You've Been With Each Other Through Thick and Thin

You've seen each other at your most vulnerable, and have still stayed by their side. While others couldn't handle you at your lowest, your bestie stuck with you through all of it. They were there for you when no one else was. That's someone you want by your side forever.

It's easy to be friends with someone when they're at their best, but it's another thing to maintain a relationship with someone when they're completely broken. Always remember that.

5. You Can't Imagine Your Life Without Them

Though we can't foresee the future and nothing ever stays the same, you know your ride or die will always be by your side. You've made plans together and know that you'll see them through, even if they require a little tweaking based on how your lives unfold.

You both see each other in your lives for years and years to come. You can picture yourselves growing old together.

Even if you move to Europe and they stay in the states, you two will always be there for each other. Distance won't come between you. Heck, nothing will.
