In addition to being the music event of the year, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival has a bit of a reputation for being dry, hot and dusty—but what if we told you there's a very special respite from the desert that sets up shop during the festival?

Enter the Goldenvoice Surf Club. This daytime event at the Palm Springs Surf Club serves as an oasis in the desert that allows Coachella festival-goers to relax and recharge, without missing out on the musical fun. This year's Goldenvoice Surf Club took place over both Coachella Festival weekends, on April 12 and 13 as well as April 19 and 20. The event, hosted during the day at the Palm Springs Surf Club, combined festival excitement with laidback and indulgent resort vibes, plus plenty of electrifying electronic music from today's biggest artists and producers form around the world.

After the inaugural event in 2024, it came back in 2025 to become even bigger, making the most of the Palm Springs Surf Club's waterpark facilities. They combine a great space with the latest and greatest in wave technology to cater to surfers of all levels. The resort destination is scenically located in the San Jacinto Mountain range, giving poolside visitors an impeccable view of the surrounding mountains and an awesome show. The grass amphitheater stage extends into a wave pool area, where visitors have the option of hitting the dance floor, chilling in cabanas, drifting down the lazy river or getting their hearts pumping as they glide through waterslides.

It's the ultimate way to let loose and get some R&R in the middle of the busy and exhausting festival weekend, especially thanks to great food and beverages and even tailored wellness experiences. The Surf Club also featured a Restoration Room with specialized wellness session, ice baths and on-site treatments for rest and self-care.
