In new relationships, brash and impulsive Aries will go out of their way to demonstrate how much they care about someone. When those feelings begin to fade, however, so does that care and attention. Some Aries are straightforward enough to just come out and announce that their feelings have changed, but if not, they'll become listless, as they're not eager to waste their time on someone who no longer has their affections. They may begin to get confrontational, picking fights over the smallest things, as they no longer care about maintaining niceties.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Focusing Attention Elsewhere

Taurus is one of the most dedicated signs of the zodiac, putting their attention into the things that matter to them. When they're in love, that might be on a partner, so when a shift happens away from that, its effects can be plainly felt. When they lose interest, all of their time and affection will move elsewhere, which is how they make their intentions clear.

 

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Retreating Into Friend Groups

Gemini is known as the social butterfly of the zodiac. They're constantly hopping from friend group to friend group, but when romance begins to bloom, they'll pull back from that a bit to make more time for their special someone. When they start losing interest, they still want to keep things friendly, so most likely, they won't come out and say anything, instead retreating back into the friendships that maintained them pre-relationship. They'll also start getting extra flirty with others in search of something new.

 

Cancer (June 21 – July 22 ): Experiencing Heartbreak

Cancer is one of the sensitive water signs, and they get fully emotionally invested in their partnerships. Typically, they don't just start losing feelings for no reason. Often, it's a prolonged situation that's the result of having their heart broken and can take a big falling out to actually occur. And since Cancer doesn't open up to just anyone, you'll definitely see these defeated crabs retreating back into their shells.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Cleanly Breaking Things Off

Leos are the stars of the zodiac, and they only want to be in relationships that keep them inspired and at the top of their game. In love, they're affectionate and celebratory, but when things aren't working out, they're more than ready to bring things off if that's what's best. They understand that drawing things out will only hurt the other person more and are ready to shine bright and do what they need to succeed.

However, one thing that can be more obvious is that they become more perfectionistic and critical with someone, losing their patience when previously, they would have cut the person more slack.

Libras are famously known as the peacekeepers of the zodiac, and while they're generally committed and loyal, that doesn't mean that things will always stay that way. The problem is that once they're ready to move on, they'll refuse to admit it, stringing the other person along so as not to upset them. In the meantime, they'll still wind up hurting them by being cold, avoidant and unresponsive, rather than their usual kind and chatty selves.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Questioning Everything

Scorpios are a passionate sign, loving deeply and not trusting easily, and when they start to lose interest, things can get a bit intense. They don't want those feelings to fade and will refuse to discuss it, sometimes even ignoring their emotions because they find the situation so painful. They may even intend to stay in a relationship that no longer suits them because it's what's comfortable, but the longer they refuse to process things, the meaner things will turn.

Airy Aquariuses tend to be aloof to begin with, so when they're not feeling a relationship, they're prone to becoming even more distant and disinterested. They'll simply be around less and make themself less available, deprioritizing the person in the relationship. Typically, their end goal is to go back to how things were when the couple was "just friends," but that's rarely possible in the real world.

 

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): Wallowing in Guilt

Pisces is the zodiac's hopeless romantic, and they're the last sign that wants a relationship to run its course. They'll agonize over the way they're feeling, often blaming themself for how things are turning out, and this can manifest itself in odd ways. They'll sometimes overcompensate, becoming blingier the guiliter they feel, which can be destructive to the relationship.
