It's A Hard Knock Life For Willow Smith

Willow Smith will be starring in the Sony Pictures remake of "Annie",  the Broadway smash hit. The film will be produced by Jay Z, and Overbook Entertainment which is ran by her parents, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Doug Belgrad, President of Columbia Pictures, is excited about the new spin the creative trio will put on the classic play.

"The time is right to bring back 'Annie' to the big screen. Of course, we're true believers in Willow's talent and believe she will be perfect in this role."

Willow's brother, Jaden Smith, starred in the Summer box-office hit, Karate Kid, which was also a remake- the film grossed $350 million.
