Katy Perry Lovers! You'll Dig This Version of 'Firework'—and Trust Us, So Will Your Parents!

It's time to bust out the #flashbackfriday hashtag, because you're about to experience a blast from the past…kinda.

There's a really clever Canadian music producer who goes by Tronicbox and his whole schtick is taking contemporary pop songs and throwing them over '80s-inspired beats.

His latest production takes us on a time warp at the hands of Katy Perry's "Firework," and it is a must-listen! I mean, if the single's artwork alone doesn't sell you on the song, I don't know what else to suggest.

Music producer Tronicbox created a pretty awesome '80s-inspired version of Katy Perry's "Firework."

Tronicbox has previously worked his retro magic on Justin Bieber's "Baby" and "Love Yourself," Zara Larsson's "Never Forget You," Rihanna's "Work" and Maroon 5's "Sugar," among others.

For anyone who lived through the fabulous decade, this is a major treat! The synthy sound of this era will resonate with your parents and siblings, so even if they weren't initially big "Firework" fans, there's no doubt they'll get a kick out of the song's latest rendition!
