Lady Gaga Is Crowned Woman Of The Year By MTV

It's no surprise that Lady Gaga won Woman of The Year in 2009- she was a break out star unlike any one the music industry had seen in a long time, but when we heard she won the title for 2010 as well, it just reaffirmed everything we love about the lady we know as 'Gaga'. So what was so phenomenal about Stefani Germanotta's year to land such a brag-worthy title? Here's MTV's  reasoning behind  their big decision:

"The performance artist, activist, and fashion icon blew our minds with her incredible videos for 'Telephone' and 'Alejandro,' earned a record-breaking 13 nominations at the VMAs, topped one billion views on her YouTube channel, won a Billboard award for Artist of the Year and rocked the red carpet in a dress made out of meat. She also campaigned against bullying, spoke out for gay rights and joined with Cyndi Lauper to raise AIDS awareness. And she's so unstoppable, we wouldn't be surprised if she was a major contender to score this honor again in 2011."
