Students React To Realistic Lammily Fashion Dolls!
The Lammily doll is a fashion doll with the realistic proportions of an average 19-year-old woman, created by Nickolay Lamm. In a new video, real second graders respond to the doll!
In the video, students are asked various questions about what they think of Lammily compared to other dolls, given a Barbie to compare. Immediately, the young girls, and one boy, interviewed in the video like the doll and how different she is to what they're used to.
Quickly, the girls find that they identify with the Lammily doll. A few girls say that she looks like people close to them.
One of the most common comments is that Lammily really seems like a real person. She just seems like a regular girl, and they could relate to her. She doesn't wear a lot of makeup, and her body type is more representative of real people.
When asked, the kids said they'd rather receive Lammily as a present. After all they already have Barbies. Even a little boy wanted a boy version of Lammily of his own!
The Lammily brand also made a big announcement with the addition of stickers to really customize the dolls. They include acne, scars, tattoos, bruises and more, like real women have!
