A First-of-Its-Kind Time Capsule Just Landing on the Moon—Here’s What to Know About Lunaprise

Today, history was made when a time capsule landed on the surface of the moon.

The project is called the Lunaprise Museum, curated by Space Blue, containing as many aspects of humanity as possible to preserve for the future. Curious? Keep scrolling to find out what Lunaprise is all about.

The Lunaprise Museum

The Lunaprise Museum was designed as a permanent art museum on the moon and developed by Space Blue, a media and production house bringing together those inspired by their passion for space. Their goal is to "back up humanity," immortalizing music, art and knowledge in an indestructible time capsule that lives on the moon.

Nicknamed "the Noah's Ark of data," this time capsule is a historical first, utilizing the latest innovations in space-tech hard drives to both record and safeguard human wisdom and culture. It safely landed on the surface of the moon today. Feb. 22, at about 11:24 a.m. PT.
