Mo'ne Davis Shows Us What Throwing Like A Girl Really Means!
Little League pitcher Mo'ne Davis shows us what it means to throw like a girl in an ad for Chevrolet that aired during the first game of the 2014 World Series!
The ad is presented as Mo'ne's letter to the United States of America, detailing the best summer of her life so far.
Earlier this year, Mo'ne was one of just two girls in the 2014 Little League World Series. The 13-year-old was also the first Little League World Series player to ever grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.
In the commercial, we see Mo'ne on the pitch. She talks about all of the success she's had with the support of her family and about her deep love for all things sports related. Mo'ne isn't just a baseball player, but also as skilled athlete in both soccer and basketball!
She also discusses the amazing opportunity to be a role model for people of all ages. She wants to fight for the right of all girls to play sports on the same teams as boys. Throwing a 70 mph pitch, she shows us what throwing "like a girl" is really about!
