1. Su Lee Finds Herself in New Single 'Messy Sexy'
With a vibey beat that will make you want to get up and dance, Su Lee's "Messy Sexy" is a must-listen (and watch) this week. Accompanied by a music video, this song is all about embracing the weird and not being afraid to let it shine. This comes before the release of her upcoming album of the same name, out Oct. 28. "'Messy Sexy' reminds me that I can be imperfect, a work-in-progress and still be a beautiful person," Su shared with Sweety High. "It can mean so many different things to others—I kinda want the listeners to make whatever interpretation that makes the most sense to them. But I hope at the very least, the song lets them know that it's okay to acknowledge our flaws and it's actually those flaws that make us so unique as individuals."
2. Tate McRae Drops New Single 'uh oh'
Tate McRae is our girl crush each and every day, and with the release of her new single "uh oh," we're once again reminded of why we love the superstar so much. "uh oh" is full of catchy lyrics and Tate's unique voice, and combined with the beat, it makes for one stunning song. In a press release, Tate shared: "'uh oh' is so different from all my other songs and that's what makes me so excited about it. The rising star just unveiled her new album, i hope you're happy, and you absolutely need to give it a listen if you're in the mood to have your heartstrings tugged at. With soaring vocals and emotional lyrics, this EP is full of hit after hit. "I wrote and produced most of these songs late at night in my bedroom so they feel extra special to me," Sarah shared in a press release. "This project feels like a journal of my emotions and experiences with growing up these past couple of years. I've dealt with a lot of changes in my life recently and it really describes those ups and downs of figuring out life."
4. Kacey Fifield Releases Debut Album, Between the Lines
At just 17 years old, Kacey Fifield has already made quite the name for herself, and with the release of her debut album, Between the Lines, it's clear the star isn't going anywhere anytime soon. With 12 tracks, this album covers topics of self-reflection, nostalgia, friendship and more. Our personal faves are "Toxic" and "Ghost." "As the name suggests, the album takes a deep look at all of the underlying emotions and thoughts found 'between the lines,'" Kacey shares with Sweety High. "It focuses on all things unwritten, subliminal and secret. The songs are all about complicated relationships with people, whether that be a satirical critique of the nature of fame, a self-reflection or a heartfelt message to a lost friend. Overall, every song takes a look at the subcontext of real-life scenarios, which makes Between the Lines a perfect fit!"
5. Maude Latour Drops New EP 001
Columbia grad Maude Latour just dropped her EP 001, and we're in love. In it, the indie-pop artist tackles friendship, heartbreak and the feeling of empowerment. After listening to each song on the EP, we adore the catchy beats and emotional lyrics. We're big fans of "Cyclone" off the EP, and this is what she told us about the song: "This song is truly a vulnerable moment for me, where I am asking for forgiveness and realizing that I can't live without someone. This song is dedicated to my best friend, and it's about my own growth through our journey together, fighting, realizing where I went wrong and changing as a person. This song is different than my other works because it is truly about how much I need someone."

If you've ever dealt with a breakup, you'll appreciate the sentiment behind this song and the gut-wrenching, all-too-relatable lyrics: "Is there a reason I can't get over you?
