Your Netflix-Watching Personality, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

If the relative positions of the planets and the stars during your birth plays a significant role in shaping your personality, your relationships and your luck, we think it must also have an impact on the way you watch Netflix.

Not sure how your zodiac sign might affect your Netflix-viewing habits? Simply scroll down to your sign below to find out.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Your Aries impulsivity drives you to start a million different shows and movies, but rarely ever finish any of them. While something might have completely engaged you at first, it has to keep pulling the punches to keep you entertained. The second you get bored, you're not afraid to abandon whatever you're watching and move on to the next thing. You might have better luck that way.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus is known for their dedication, which is why you're so likely to binge a season, or two or three, in a single sitting. You're a planner who's always sure to clear her schedule before diving into your show, because you know it'll take a while and you don't want to have any distractions. Chances are you have snacks and beverages at the ready, and scheduled bathroom breaks, too. Basically, you're prepared for anything.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

You're a social creature, Gemini, and just because you put something on Netflix doesn't mean you'll necessarily be paying attention to it. When you view something, you always feel the need to pitch in your two cents. You have something to say about everything that happens—unless you get caught up in an entirely different conversation, that is. Thankfully, you're charming enough that nobody ever minds too much. Unless something really riveting is onscreen, they typically prefer your company anyhow.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

As a Cancer, you're driven by your emotions, and you use Netflix as a cathartic tool to help you express yourself most fully. Feeling sad? Put on a tear-jerking chick flick to fit your mood. Feeling angry? A dramatic revenge story is never far off. When you're all caught up in your feelings, you want to wallow in them a little bit, and Netflix makes it so easy to do that. When the viewing experience is done, you often find that you're back to your happy self.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Your Leo qualities make you a natural host, which is why you frequently find yourself in situations where you present your favorite Netflix shows to others, attempting to make the experience as theatrical as possible. You introduce each episode or film with gusto, getting everyone up to speed with the history and context so they can understand it fully, while you happily pause to take questions. Sometimes, you even provide snacks.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22)

As a careful, perfectionistic Virgo, you like to be in control of situations and you hate having things spoiled for you. That's why you watch anything that's even slightly of interest on the day it comes out. You'd much rather waste your time but be the first in the know than to accidentally have some important plot detail revealed to you before you were ready. You plan ahead for this kind of thing to avoid being disappointed.

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22)

As much as you might want to give everyone and everything a fair shot, that doesn't mean you have the resources to commit to them all, Libra. Your "watch later" list is full of everything that even slightly piques your interest, and has grown so much that it's become intimidating. You keep adding things to the last, but chances are that you'll never watch them. Since you know there's no use in even attempting to get to it all, you just wind up watching the same go-to show over and over again.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

Your Scorpio traits make you lean towards everything dark and brooding, so your watch history is full of crime thrillers, murder mysteries and cop dramas. You often find yourself staying up way too late to finish the story arc you're enjoying, and "just one more" usually turns into hours of additional viewing. Just because you like to remain a little mysterious yourself doesn't mean you're satisfied when a plot point is still unresolved.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Adventurous Sagittarius watches the weirdest stuff on Netflix. You're always stepping out of your comfort zone and trying bizarre new shows that no one else seems to watch, and you have a strangely high success rate. When you find something really good, you feel the need to share it with everyone you know, even if your recommendations go ignored. But don't give up. If you keep at it, you might eventually convince someone to enjoy your favorites, too.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

Capricorn is the definition of committed, and when you start something on Netflix, you see things through to the end. Any moves you put in your list get watched, and anything you start gets finished. Even if you're completely bored, your curiosity and the need to see how things end will get to through the rest of whatever you're viewing. You've never been a quitter, and Netflix is no exception.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

As an Aquarius, you pride yourself in your originality and keeping an open mind, so you'll try watching anything at least once. You don't immediately flock to the shows that are the most popular or have the highest ratings. You you mostly prefer to discover things for yourself, you're also happy to check out recommendations that feel like they're off the beaten path. You believe everything deserves a shot, and if it's not your thing, it's no big thing for you to move on.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)

Pisces is known for being dreamy and living in their heads most of the time, and when it comes to watching Netflix, you're not always all that focused. You're the type of person who puts something on, only to start playing around on your phone or to zone out. By the end of whatever you're watching, you've discovered that you didn't actually absorb any of it and have to start all over again. But as long as you're enjoying it, what does it matter if you're a little distracted?
