Lulus Raphlyn Platform Loafers: $38
Whenever we have to dress up in business casual, we never feel like ourselves. Our shoes, in particular, always age our outfits, whether with a ballet slipper or a flat loafer. Thanks to platform shoes, like this pair of loafers from Lulus, we can still feel youthful while heading to an event. But even when you aren't necessarily looking to dress up, these shoes can be used to add extra edge to an everyday outfit.

UGG Classic Ultra Mini Platform: $160
UGGs with a platform sole is the one thing we never knew we needed. We were already huge fans of the ankle boots, but the platform adds more spice. Beyond having a gorgeous design, UGG also uses sustainable manufacturing, like using sugarcane foam to create their soles and reduce fossil fuel usage.

Doc Martens 8053 Leather Platform Casual Shoes: $180
For a long time, we were against these shoes from Doc Martens, but they've grown on us. These shoes can give any outfit we love a vintage touch—which we often try to incorporate into our outfits more.
If you're a frequent Doc Martens shopper, you'll know that their shoes can be a pain to your ankles, but with these hitting at your ankles, the breaking-in period is virtually nonexistent.
