Everything You Wanted to Know About Country Singer-Songwriter Priscilla Block
The album, featuring stunning songs including "Just About Over You," "Thick Thighs" and "I Bet You Wanna Know," is an instant classic—and that's not the only exciting thing that happened for Priscilla last week. She was also nominated in the 2022 Academy of Country Music Awards for New Female Artist of the Year, and we're rooting for her to take it home next month. Point is, we're obsessed, and here's everything we learned about Priscilla as our latest Woman Crush Wednesday.

Name: Priscilla Block
Hometown: Raleigh, North Carolina
Birthday: August 10
1. Priscilla's biggest hero has to be Taylor Swift.
"She's an icon, insane songwriter and just a businesswoman through and through."
2. She loves to organize.
"I don't know—it just relaxes me and I love finding space for things to fit nicely."
3. She got quite starstruck over an encounter she had in Los Angeles.
"I'm obsessed with the Kardashians and I happened to be out in L.A. not long ago—hoping to run into one of them. I actually saw Corey Gamble, Kris Jenner's boyfriend. I felt like that was the closest I'd get to the Kardashians., so I kinda had a mini freak out."
4. She loves to collect stuff from shows.
"Whether it be show flyers, VIP passes, etc., I have a hard time throwing them away, because when I was little, I'd save every concert ticket hoping one day it'd be my own."
5. She's the second youngest child of five kids.
"I was always fighting for attention! I think it definitely impacted who I am. I was taught at a young age to fight for the things that you want, and that's given me a lot of work ethic with music."
6. She loves to be on the lake.
"I'm a lake girl through and through. I love water sports, especially wakeboarding."
7. Her go-to Starbucks drink is a skinny vanilla latte with almond milk.
8. Her favorite thing about herself is her vibrant personality.
"I feel like I can make people laugh and cry at the same time. I'm not afraid to be myself and at the end of the day, I know that not everyone has to love me. I'm just gonna keep being myself."
9. She says that the older she's gotten, the more she's gotten into baths.
"I love to pour a bath, light some candles and turn off for a second."
10. She's always related to Bratz dolls.
"I feel like they were the closest thing to me growing up. Short, curvy and big hair."
11. Priscilla says that with her, what you see is what you get.
"Some days I'm the girl crying at the bar, and some days, I'm the drunk girl in the bar trying to get everyone to dance with me. I love hard and hurt harder. For as long as I keep putting out music—I'm gonna keep on writing about real life."
