The Riverdale Cast's Reaction to the 2018 Teen Choice Awards Will Warm Your Heart

Not that there was any question, but Riverdale is having a moment. The 2018 Teen Choice Awards were held Sunday night, and the evening couldn't have gone much better for  show's stars and fans.

Put simply, Riverdale cleaned up. The wins came in major categories, too, including Choice TV Drama and Choice TV Actress/Actor for Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper) and Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones), respectively. Needless to say, the cast had a lot to tweet about.

Lili gave us the best insight into how the night went for the group. Thanks to her post-show tweet, we know that the cast is already back in Vancouver to keep shooting Season 3 (no rest for the weary) and that they're grateful for our "outpouring of love."

"We all discussed on the plane back to Vancouver what we thought our 16 year old selves would think about our lives now—and I never could've imagined being a part of something so wonderful," Lili wrote. "Thank you all for the outpouring of love that you give us and our little town of Riverdale."

Meanwhile, her oscreen love and rumored real-life boyfriend, Cole, took a little more tongue-in-cheek route with his tweet about winning Choice Male Hottie. However, he also acknowledged what a long road it has been, so it was equally touching.

Some of the Riverdale parents also weighed in, including the newly minted Choice TV Villain, Mark Consuelo (Hiram Lodge), and Marisol Nichols (Hermione Lodge), who is "so proud."

What a night. Hopefully they had a chance to soak it all it, because it looks like it's back to work already.
