Shirley Temple Tribute By Taylor Swift

After the iconic actress, singer and dancer Shirley Temple passed away earlier this week, Taylor Swift paid a touching tribute to the star in a handwritten note.

Many stars paid respects after Shirley Temple passed away on Monday, February 10 at the age of 85, including pop-country superstar Taylor Swift.

"Sitting backstage at the O2 in London, thinking about what an impressive and extraordinary life Shirley Temple led," Taylor Tweeted. "Thanks for the memories."

She also posted a handwritten quote to her Facebook page.

"There's nothing like real love. Nothing," Taylor wrote by hand in a little red notebook, quoting the phrase said by Temple a few months after the passing of her husband in 2006. We think it's an important quote to live by!
