It’s the third day of Sweety High’s 12 days of holiday DIYS! Today, we’ll show you how to make a gorgeous homemade mason jar snow globe, adapted from a tutorial by Michaela Noelle Designs.
This design ditches the traditional water snow globes for something simpler, and less messy! Homemade water snow globes can get full of bubbles that ruin the look. These globes are beautiful and hassle-free! See the original here!
You’ll need:
- A glue gun
- One mason jars
- One fake tree (from a craft of hobby store)
- Fake snow
As is always the case when using a hot glue gun, make sure to do this craft under parental supervision!
Begin by hot gluing the fake tree to the bottom of the mason lid jar. Once it’s in place, hot glue fake snow around the base of the tree until the rest of the lid is covered.
Next, fill your mason jar with a handful of the fake snow.
Take your lid, with the tree attached on the underside, and secure it in place with the screw-on lid.
Flip it over, and the look is complete!
