SpongeBob MailPants Encourages Writing Letters!
Nickelodeon and the U.S. Postal Service are teaming up this year for the new SpongeBob MailPants program, which encourages young people to write and mail letters!
The program uses the popular Nickelodeon character, SpongeBob SquarePants, to show kids how fun it is to write, send and receive mail during the holidays!
Kids can get special postage-paid SpongeBob postcards from now until January 14th at more than 25,000 participating Post Offices across the U.S to send to friends and family!
USPS is also placed 30 custom-wrapped SpongeBob SquarePants mailboxes in 13 different cities across the nation, including Los Angeles and New York City!
"We're excited to partner with Nickelodeon," USPS chief marketing and sales officer Nagisa Manabe said. "This is a great, fun way to teach kids to write postcards. What better way to encourage kids to experience the excitement of sending personal correspondence than teaming up with SpongeBob, who is adored by children of all ages."
We think it's awesome that Nickelodeon is encouraging kids to write letters!
