Sport Relief Has Little Mix Singing Word Up!
Little Mix recently took a live-changing trip to Liberia for their work with the U.K. charity event Sport Relief!
Every year, Sport Relief brings the U.K. together for a weekend of sports and activities to raise money to change lives across the world. The charity uses the funds to educate kids around the world and bring them clean water and vaccines.
Little Mix are playing a big part in this year's events by recording the official Sport Relief single! The single will be a cover of the 1986 track "Word Up" by Cameo.
The single will be released in March, and all proceeds will go toward the Sport Relief foundation!
The girls also visited Liberia to meet kids whose lives have been changed by Sport Relief.
"We just got back from Liberia where we visited a project that's been helped with money raised for Sport Relief," Little Mix member Leigh-Anne Pinnock said in a BBC Radio 1.
"It was shocking to see how tough people's lives are in the slums there, but knowing how the money raised really does help change lives was inspiring and that's why I hope everyone gets involved, signs up to the Games and does their bit this year."
The girls also sang a gorgeous a cappella preview of "Word Up" for the kids in Liberia!
Sainsbury's Sport Relief games take place from March 21 to 23. Participants will be able to run, swim or cycle their way to raising funds for kids in need!
