Spotify’s Newest Campaign Celebrates the Magic of Music Fandom

Spotify has always prided itself in being a platform that puts fans first. After all, there'd be no music culture whatsoever without the dedicated listeners who enthusiastically attend the concerts, buy the albums and spread the word about the artists they love most. That's why today, April 14, Spotify is celebrating music fandom all over the world by kicking off an exciting new campaign.

The campaign is all about highlighting and commemorating the committed fandoms of today's biggest artists, and the communities they've built all over the world. To start, it's highlighting fandoms for seven musicians and groups—Chappell Roan, Doechii, Oasis, Olivia Rodrigo, ROSALÍA, SEVENTEEN and Turnstile—all over the globe.

The Campaign

Spotify is reminding us all yet again that they're the ultimate destination for fan culture with a fan-first campaign, starting by commemorating listeners around the world. Their unique billboards have popped up  in some of the world's biggest spots for music fandom, starting with New York City, Los Angeles and London. These billboards celebrate the cultures that surround the fanbases of its artists with evocative film and photography, representing each fandom through imagery that's instantly recognizable to fans.

Essentially, these billboards highlight the unbeatable power of fandom, and the shared sounds and cultural touch points that unite people who love the same music. It's about the communities that are built around a shared passion for an artist's craft.
