We Tried Starbucks' Two-Toned Matcha Pink Drink So You Don't Have To

Starbucks-lovers rejoice! There's a new secret menu drink making the rounds.

First we had the Pink Drink, then the Purple Drink, but now we have the most beautiful drink of them all—the Two-Toned Matcha Pink Drink.

Get ready, because this bad boy is about to be all up in your Instagram feeds.

Made with three parts Strawberry Acai Refresher with coconut milk and one part matcha with coconut milk, its coloring is reminiscent of a dazzling watermelon.

Not wanting to miss out on this trend, I hit up the Starbucks across the street from the Sweety High offices with my co-workers Brittney and Sarah to test this beauty out myself.

It was a bit of an awkward experience attempting to order the drink, but luckily the baristas were easily able to figure out how to whip it up.

(Where's the pink?)

Our drinks were definitely missing the two-toned aspect, as you can see. They did taste absolutely delicious, however!

Sweet and refreshing, the Strawberry Acai Refresher and matcha in the drink completed each other quite well. Initially I was worried how these two elements would taste paired together, but it ended up being a sugary delight. And the coconut milk gave it an added kick of sweetness.

If you're all for your drinks sweet, the Matcha Pink Drink is definitely for you!
