Here Are Our Favorite Interconnected Standalone Series
Although we love to immerse ourselves into the universes within books, we often become tired of hearing the same character's inner monologue in story after story. Enter interconnected standalone series.
This type of writing uses each book to focus on a different person's arc. Your favorites from past releases may reappear because they live in the same town, work in the same career or have the same friend group.

Mead Mishaps by Kimberly Lemming
In the fantasy genre, it's surprisingly challenging to find a standalone book. Thanks to Kimberly Lemming, we have a very entertaining option! Little do they know, they'll be swept off their feet by werewolves and dragons—and maybe even meet a few talking swords along the way.

Lights Out by Simone Soltani
Formula 1 has taken over the world in the past few years, and it was only a matter of time before authors started writing it. Simone Soltani is, by far, our favorite. You have charming characters and super relatable leads. Plus, you cannot deny there is something attractive about the risks of race car driving.
Rose Hill by Elsie Silver
We weren't certain that we would be into the small town romance thing, but Elsie Silver proved us wrong. The books from Rose Hill are the epitome of cozy, feel-good love. The characters have their flaws, but that makes you love them even more. And you'll definitely love the single dad arc in her love interests.
Windy City by Liz Tomforde
Can't decide on which sport to choose for your romance? With Liz Tomforde's Windy City series, you can try them all. Her first book starts with hockey, while later efforts highlight basketball, football and more. That said, they're all steamy and fun, which means Liz is just that good.
