What is the movie about?

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is based on the book of the same name and is the prequel to the original The Hunger Games series. This movie will follow a young President Snow and show us the beginning of The Hunger Games and Panem.

Will any of the same actors/actresses from the OG The Hunger Games be in it?

While it hasn't been confirmed, rumors have been floating around that Jennifer Lawrence might make an appearance as Katniss Everdeen's grandmother. What we do know is that we won't see any of the younger characters from the original series since this movie takes place 64 years before The Hunger Games trilogy.
