5 Truths Every Lazy Girl Can Relate To

We didn't ask to be born lazy girls, but when life deals you something, you might as well lean into it. Honestly, being a lazy girl makes life much harder than it should be, because honestly, we don't want to do anything.

Think you might be a lazy girl yourself? Continue reading to discover five relatable truths. If you find yourself feeling the same things, you probably are a tried and true lazy girl.

Life Is About Working Smarter, Not Harder

As lazy girls, we're often hoping to do the least amount of work possible. It's given us a lot of creativity to solve problems quickly and efficiently. After all, the sooner it's done, the more time you can have doing absolutely nothing, whether its your homework, errands or anything else.

For example, one of our favorite things to do is order groceries for mobile pick-up. Sure, it might cost extra money, but the few additional dollars makes us much happier because we don't have to leave the comfort of our bed.

Simple Is Often Better

Once upon a time, we were the kind of people who liked to have a 12-step skincare routine. We equated more products with better results. However, that's often not the case. We've seen more improved results from doing minimal skincare and makeup—our skin is the clearest it's ever been. Plus, we no longer have to spend hours getting ready for bed.

Nothing Says Relief Like Canceled Plans

It could also be the introvert in us, but we secretly love when plans get canceled. We don't want to be the person to flake all the time, so we often pull ourselves out of bed to socialize. That said, we wouldn't be upset if our friends canceled. It means we can spend even more time by ourselves, doing whatever we enjoy most.

Your Favorite Activities Are Reading Books, Watching TV or Playing Games

The best kind of activities are the ones you don't have to leave your house to do. For example, reading a book, watching your television or playing videos allows you to stimulate your mind from the comfort of your bed. Don't feel bad—there's no harm in being a homebody.

Winter Is Your Favorite Season

Winter is terrible to experience, but it's also why we like it. Because it's cold outside, we feel less obligated to leave our homes. The rest of the world agrees, meaning you'll likely have more days off from school and work—or at the very least, you can perform your tasks from home.

Coming in a close second for our favorite season is summer. Because school isn't in session, it's the perfect time to lounge around and give yourself a much-needed break. And there are a few times where it's almost too sweltering to go anywhere.
