Ugh, we miss Pretty Little Liars. 

For seven years we were glued to our TV,  following all the ups and downs of our favorite girl squad. Betrayals, shocking twists, shifting identities and evil twin reveals all tried to bring our favorite little liars down, but they always found a way to persevere and come out on top.

When the show ended, we almost felt like we were losing a part of ourselves. No more of Hanna’s witty remarks, Spencer’s logical reasonings, Emily’s kind encouragement or Aria’s artistic musings? How on earth we were supposed to cope!

Thankfully, we’re not totally alone in our sorrow. At a recent launch event for This Bar Saves Lives at Ysabel in West Hollywood, California, we were able to chat with Troian Bellisario, a.k.a. Spencer, on Freeform’s legendary show.

When asked what she misses most about the show, Troian told Sweety High, “Just going to work with my family everyday. I miss all the people who I got to work with. The cast and crew are incredible.” 

We totally have to agree. The chemistry of the cast and crew made the characters shine, so it was awesome to hear that the love we saw on screen wasn’t all acting.

However, there’s one big difference between our nostalgia for the days of PLL and Troian’s. While we have to deal with the fact that we may never see these characters all together again, Troian can at least talk to her former castmates anytime—and she does! When asked if she still stays in touch with her costars, she responded excitedly, “Yeah, absolutely!”
