I Tried Dunkin' Donuts New S'mores Flavored Coffee and It's Literally a Campfire in a Cup

Coffee connoisseurs, have you heard? Dunkin' Donuts just released their S'mores coffee flavor right in time for summer.

Because I'm a fan of both campfires and caffeine, I knew I had to be one of the first to get my hands on this sweet drink and give you an honest review.

Today, I headed to the DD closest to me, and to my great delight, the S'mores flavor was indeed available. This coffee flavor combines three of the best tasting ingredients—graham crackers, toasted marshmallows and chocolate—and can be added to any of Dunkin' Donuts' hot drinks or iced coffees, lattes, macchiatos or Frozen Dunkin' Coffees.

After glimpsing over Dunkin's menu, I knew exactly how I was going to order my marshmallow coffee concoction—in frozen form!

While I waited for the drink to be prepared, I chatted with the barista and asked her what I could expect.

She explained that the coffee wouldn't look much different than the regular Frozen Dunkin' Coffee—it would just taste much sweeter, thanks to the addition of the S'mores syrup.

Honestly, I was a little bummed they didn't decide to add little chocolate or graham cracker shavings to the top of these drinks just for a little extra flair and an even more picturesque Instagram opportunity.

Regardless, I was still excited to test it out.

When my drink was finally ready, I happily scooped it up piled high with whipped cream and took my first swig.

Here I am moments before and moments after my first sip:

If you couldn't guess from my reaction in the picture on the right, this drink is super sweet. Because I'm a fan of all things sugary, this spin on the classic campfire treat definitely hit the spot. The hint of coffee flavor was an added bonus.

If you love Starbucks frappuccinos, I would highly recommend ordering this drink—and in frozen form. It's definitely more of a dessert, but it's perfect for a hot summer day.

Only downside to this treat? It will truly leave you wanting s'more.
