This Hypnotic Tie-Dye Hair

???????????? Guys I just wanted to give you a little taste of this color project. This tie dye inspires look was created with my "3D Color" technique. How is this different from normal patterns created in the hair? This technique allows your to create your pattern from the interior of the hair outward. This creates a pattern that stays consistent, even when moving or sectioned off. This allows you to maintain the integrity of your patterns in a variety of hairstyles! We are taking this color to the studio to have it shot tomorrow! I cannot wait to show you photos! In the meantime enjoy this video that shows the incredible movement of this color

This Iridescent Hue ????????????

Never before posted angle of this color! ???????????? This project came about when my wonderful boss asked me to create something to go in a print ad for our salon in a local publication, @alivemagstl When I was designing this my idea was to create something that mimicked light reflecting all of the way down the hair, like rippled pools of water or gem stones. I created this using all #Pravana color. These Shadowed Roots

This 'shadow root' created by @hairbymandielynn is a modern method for adding a pop of color to your platinum clients. To customize your direct dyes, you can add Olaplex #2 to your pigment until you visually create your desired tone. Here's her process- "She was pre lightened to a level 10 when she came into me. My formula: Roots: @kenraprofessional metallics 7sm + 3 inches of violet booster and 1/8 ounce of Olaplex #1. Ends: @kenralrofessional Metallics 10sm + 1 inch of violet booster and 1/8 ounce of Olaplex. Finished with step 2 of Olaplex at the sink." #shadowroot #platinum #healthyhair #olaplex
