Zendaya Chats About Replay, The View and More!

Zendaya recently sat down for an interview to talk about her new single Replay, what it was like to co-host on The View, and about what it's like to be so tall!

Zendaya chatted with Zach Sang and told him all about what made her fall in love with the song "Replay."

"It's a song that I fell in love with the first time I heard it," she said. "I just knew it had to be my song and it's creating its own lane in music, it's not necessarily your standard pop music."

She said that what really makes it stand out is that its influenced by both pop and techno, but that it has an R&B melody behind it.

"It counteracts with the beat and makes it something that really hasn't been heard before," she said.

Zendaya also remarked on how cool it was to be a co-host on The View. She said that she was told it was ok to interrupt when she needed to, but she said she couldn't bring herself to interrupt Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg!

Zendaya is really an artist. She doesn't sing, dance, and act because she can, but because she loves them all.

"I think you have to be an artist," She said. "I think sometimes that lacks nowadays. Sometimes people just do this as a hobby.  Just 'Oh, you know, I'm an actor. Well, I can do singing, might as well capitalize off that too.' But there's no way, you know what I mean? I'm one of those people who truly has a very strong passion for music. I am very involved in everything I do."

Did you know that Zendaya is 5'10"? Her mom is even taller at 6'4″! Zendaya said that she hopes to get to at least 6 feet by the time she's done growing!
