A new film from Disney called Into The Woods, based on the musical of the same name, revives some of the most beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales in one intertwined story!

The film revolves around a baker and his wife, played by James Corden and Emily Blunt, who dream of starting a family. One day, they learn from their neighbor, a witch (Meryl Streep), that they’ve been unsuccessful to due a curse!

To break the curse, the couple will need to collect magical ingredients for the witch’s potion, which will require them to obtain these items from Jack (of Jack and the Beanstalk fame), Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Cinderella (Anna Kendrick).

Based on this first trailer, we can expect Into the Woods to boast some amazing effects and landscapes, as well as an all-star cast!

Into The Woods is based on the musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, who wrote the screenplay! It’s set to hit theaters on January 1, 2015.
