The Thirst Project’s 5th Annual Thirst Gala on June 24th was an incredible fundraiser, featuring performances by McClain and Jesse McCartney, and honoring Bella Thorne! Check out a new Thirst Gala highlight reel to see some of the show’s top moments!

This year’s Thirst Gala was hosted by Jennifer Garner at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The Thirst Project started out as a college club, founded by Seth Maxwell, and has grown to be something so much bigger!

Bella Thorne, who has been the spokesperson for The Thirst Project’s Dirty Little Secret campaign for the past two years, was awarded with the Pioneering Spirit Award at the gala!

Bella couldn’t be there in person, but her Blended costar Kevin Nealon accepted the award on her behalf, and she gave an acceptance speech via video conference.

“When I went to Africa last year and shot Blended, obviously the conditions around me were beautiful and wonderful,” she said in her speech. “But as you drove around and visited other areas, the need for clean water and a better life for other beings really became so much more clear and real.”

Jessie stars Debby Ryan and Karan Brar were also part of the big event, which also featured musical performances!

McClain were the first musical act to take the stage, where they performed their hit single, “Rise.”

“I was literally emotional the entire time,” Sierra McClain told Sweety High in a recent interview. “It was hard to have voice control on stage because I literally just wanted to cry. It was such a spiritual, wonderful, uplifting experience.”

Jesse McCartney also performed “Superbad” and “Beautiful Soul” during the gala!

The event raised more than $250,000 to provide safe, clean drinking water to children all around the world! It’s amazing that so many of our favorite stars were involved with such an important cause!
