The Best Products Our Beauty Editors Tried in October

Every month, our beauty editors try out all sorts of products just for you readers.

From skincare to makeup, haircare and more, they try it all! And this past month was no different. With tons of new releases in the beauty world and new finds on our part, we had so much fun testing out things like toothpaste, eye crayons and serums. Interested in finding out what made the cut for the best of the best? Keep scrolling for a look at the best products our beauty editors tried this October.

Davids Sensitive + Whitening Toothpaste: $9.95

If you have sensitive teeth, we feel for you. Getting teeth professionally whitened is pretty much a hard no if you have sensitive teeth, which is why we recommend sticking to trusted at-home brands like Davids! We tried out their new Sensitive + Whitening toothpaste, and since it's made with safe ingredients and is fluoride-free, you can rest easy knowing your teeth will look great and feel great.

PressOn PSL Nail Gellies: $16

Not everyone has the time or money to go to the nail salon every few weeks. So, when PressOn sent us some nail gellies to try out from the comfort of our own homes, we couldn't wait to see if it lived up to our expectations. And it totally did! Unlike other at-home nail brands, these nail gellies seamlessly go on your fingers and don't catch on things and snap off. They stay on for a long time and look fantastic.

Waphyto Regena Facial Oil: $109

When it comes to skincare, we're down to try anything from drugstore brands to something super luxe, like this facial oil from Waphyto. Formulated with killer ingredients like squalane, camellia seed oil, gamma seed oil, jasmine and ylang-ylang, this oil illuminates, hydrates and deeply penetrates the skin.

Iconic London Glaze Crayon in Nectar: $30

Now that the holidays are officially upon us, we can't think of a better time to create a sparkly makeup look, and we plan on doing this with Iconic London's new Glaze Crayons! This two-in-one product features an eyeshadow crayon on one end and a shimmery glaze on the other. Use them together or alone, and you're left with one glistening glam look you'll want to recreate over and over again.

Pura Luxe Mane Tame: $110

We had no idea what to expect with Pura Luxe's Mane Tame, but after trying it out for ourselves, we're in love! It's basically an ultra-hydrating hair mask that you're supposed to use once a month. After leaving it in, rinsing, rough drying and straightening it, we had absolutely no frizz. Our hair has never felt softer, smoother or more hydrated.

Mutha No. 1 Serum: $75

We love finding new products that become our holy grail, and that's exactly what Mutha's No. 1 Serum is to us. Crafted with a hyaluronic acid complex, rice kefiran, rice peptide and stabilized vitamin C, this luxe powerhouse of a serum will transform your skin in no time. We've noticed our skin looks less dull, more even and even feels stronger, probably due to an increase in collagen!

Plum Beauty Spa Facial Steamer: $27.99

We love hitting up the steam room after a long, sweaty workout. But since not all of us have access to a steam room, something like this mini Facial Steamer from Plum Beauty will do the trick. The steam penetrates your skin while opening your pores, allowing for more radiant and deeply cleansed skin. We love using this at night to unwind from the day.
