Daneliya Tuleshova Is Ready to Step Into a New Musical Era in 2025, Starting With ‘Paradise’
L.A.-based singer-songwriter Daneliya Tuleshova has always turned heads and wowed audiences with her remarkable voice, reflecting a talent well beyond her years.
After half of her life in the spotlight, proving her musical prowess and stunning listeners in numerous contests and reality competitions across the globe, the now 18-year-old artist is ready to step into the next era, beginning with new music, out next month. Here's what you need to know.
Daneliya's rise to fame started at a very young age. As a small child from Kazakhstan, she practiced everything from gymnastics and ballroom dancing to contemporary dance and acting, but it was her singing abilities that really made people take notice.
She was just eight when the organizers of Kazakh singing competition Ayaglagan Astana discovered her in 2015. She won the competition, qualifying her to compete in the international Children's New Wave contest in Russia, where she not only reached the finals but also won the Audience Award.
Of course, that was only the start of her journey. In January of 2017, Denaliya won the grand prize at the Hopes of Europe international singing competition. Soon after, she auditioned for The Voice Kids Ukraine with a show-stopping performance of Demi Lovato's "Stone Cold." Not only did her audition video become the show's most-watched performance of all time, but she went on to become the youngest-ever winner of the competition at just 11 years old. Already, her voice had the power and maturity of a seasoned artist, and it would only improve from there.
Daneliya's triumphs in the competition circuit continued. In 2018, she represented Kazakhstan in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in sixth place with her original song "Ózińe sen," before coming to the U.S. to enchant a brand new audience. The following year, she appeared on CBS's The World's Best, wowing judges Drew Barrymore, RuPaul and Faith Hill and going all the way to the semi-finals.
Then, in 2020, she became a top 10 finalist on America's Got Talent. Notably, she performed a duet of her original anthem "Kings & Queens" with pop phenomenon Ava Max, keeping up with Ava's charisma and vocal prowess at every step, and showcasing her potential as a major star in her own right.

To this day, we still get her 2021 single "Like You Used To" stuck in our heads.
And now, in 2025, Daneliya is ready to reveal her artistic evolution so far as she's grown into adulthood. Her unique style holds on to her Kazakh identity while integrating the hottest pop and R&B sounds of today. Daneliya's experiences as an artist from a young age are also an important element in her songwriting, inviting listeners along on her unusual path and her story of self-discovery. Her lyrics manage to be personal and authentic, yet universal.
