The Cutest Fruit-Inspired Fashion Trends We Can’t Get Enough of This Summer
Every summer, we look forward to seeing the return of breezy styles, vibrant colors and pieces that create a sense of fun and whimsy. There's a good reason that fruit-inspired fashions have become a seasonal staple.
2025 has been no exception, with some of the biggest trends emphasizing sweet, tangy and colorful styles that evoke our favorite tropical fruits. Want to incorporate a splash of saturated creativity into your own ensembles? Look no further than the six top fruit-forward looks of summer 2025.
Guava
2025 has been declared Guava Girl Summer, and the warm pink hue has been absolutely taking over. We're moving away from Barbie and Galinda pinks in favor of something more sunny and natural, and the best part is that you can wear it however your heart pleases. The color is ridiculously versatile, from outfits and colorful accessories to makeup and beyond. We're even seeing guava take over the interior design world, so do be afraid to wear your splash of pink.

Banana
While butter yellow has been one of 2025's dominating color trends, for the summer, we're learning toward its more vibrant counterpart, banana. Forget the more muted and subdued yellows, as well as orange-tinted varieties, and lean into pure saturated boldness of the color of a ripe banana. Not only does it make a statement as the color of a sundress, top or pair of sunglasses, but we also love banana-shaped earrings and other unique jewelry looks.

Mangonada
Not familiar with the mangonada? It's a frozen drink, originally from Mexico, that combines mango with lime juice and spicy, tangy chamoy sauce that creates a decadent fusion of sweetness, tanginess and heat. The drink is also beautiful, with the vibrant blood red color of the chamoy accenting the golden yellow of the mangoes to create a sunny swirl (which also looks fabulous in any outfit). To get the look, pair your favorite warm yellow pieces with bold red accessories, or find looks that already sport the iconic yellow, orange and red ombre on their own.

Citrus
This summer's playful citrus trend is less about the colors and more about the unique shapes that result from cutting citrus, whether into slices or wedges. Both shapes are utterly adorable and make for eye-catching accessories, whether in the form of earrings and bracelet charms or charming handbags. Even better, they're often available in lemon, lime and orange styles, so you have the freedom to pick the one that best suits your style.

Cherries
Cherries have been one of the most popular prints this year, overtaking florals during the spring, and they're not leaving anytime soon. It helps that they're ridiculously versatile, with their juicy pop of red and green stems that contrasts well against white, black and even blue backdrops. They have a sweet and sassy connotation and can be worn everywhere, from your body to your feet, in your hair and as a accessory that complements your outfit.

Tomato
And finally, 2025 has absolutely seen the return of Tomato Girl Summer (and yes, tomatoes are technically fruits). The look is all about channeling the coastal vibes of a Mediterranean vacation, and while its a versatile aesthetic inspired by European style, you can't go wrong if you incorporate actual tomato reds. The more tomato-like, with rounded shapes and shiny, delicious-looking textures, the better.
