Girl Power Day Inspires New Categories at SH!
Exactly one year ago today, Girl Power Day was declared an official holiday in Boston, Massachusetts! It's celebrated every August 23rd in the state and beyond!
Mayor Tom Menino declared the holiday because he saw how important it was for girls to be supported. Girls around the country should have access to programming that benefits them, and have the chance to speak with mentors who can empower them!
In honor of this important day, we've expanded the Girl Power section of our blog with a number of new categories!
