5 Things We KNOW Will Happen During Lady Gaga’s Coachella Performance
Lady Gaga is one of the most unique artists of our time.
From the style of her music to her wardrobe, you never quite know what to expect from this singer… except that she'll always bring her A-game.
While we were initially devastated by Bey bailing on Coachella, we were immediately filled with excitement when news broke that Gaga would be taking her place.
With the unpredictable nature of her style, paired with the reliability of her stellar performances, we made a list of what we expect to see from the singer at Coachella 2017:
Wardrobe a la "Perfect Illusion"
While Gaga is well known for her avant garde wardrobe, we are expecting to see the singer performing in a more laidback look, similar to something our of her "Perfect Illusion" music video. After all, the video itself has a total desert music festival vibe, just like we'll be experiencing at Coachella. Headlining in the heat is no easy task, which is why we expect to see Gaga in denim jorts and bralettes. Though we won't be surprised if she embellishes her outfit with studs or patches.
All-Encompassing Track List
Monsters, get your paws in the air because you can expect to groove to some of Gaga's classics at Coachella. While we can't predict the exact track list she'll be playing, it's likely she'll perform hits such as "Bad Romance," "Just Dance" and "Applause." Of course, this music festival kicks off her world tour where she'll be traveling with her newest album, Joanne. That said, we're excited to hear some of our new faves, including "Million Reasons" and "Perfect Illusion."
Country Combo
In addition to her hit songs, we just know she's going to throw some of her country vibes into the mix. How could she not when performing in the desert? We're hoping to hear "John Wayne," "A-Yo" and "You and I."
Pink 'Joanne' Hat
The most iconic look from her new album is the powder pink hat that has now become a signature. She's been spotted wearing the wide-rimmed chic cowgirl hat everywhere from her SNL performance to her Carpool Karaoke appearance with comedian James Corden. Expect to see her donning this pink beauty which will be fashionable and functional in the Coachella heat.
Spread the Love
Gaga is all about spreading the love far and wide. The message can be heard loud and proud through many of her songs, as well as basically every time she opens her mouth to speak. It's one of the things we admire most about this pop star, and we can't wait to both hear and feel the love during this springtime music festival.
