SOFI TUKKER’s The Bread Tour Is a High-Energy Dance Spectacular You Have to See to Believe
Grammy-nominated electronic duo SOFI TUKKER released their celebratory third album, BREAD, in August before taking it on the road via The Bread Tour, bringing their bold, bombastic and unbridled energy to the world at large. It goes without saying that they've made quite the impression.
The New York City-based duo, consisting of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, has become one of the biggest EDM acts on the planet, playing at all of the major festivals from Coachella and Governor's Ball to Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. With BREAD's biggest hits integrated into the shows, including "Jacaré," "Woof" and "Throw Some A**," their latest string of shows have been their biggest yet. Just one listen, and you understand precisely why they have 3 billion global streams and counting.
BREAD stands for "Be Really Energetic and Dance," and that's precisely the vibe they've been bringing with them on The Bread Tour, with each performance feeling like an unrestrained celebration of life.
Following the album's release in August, they began with shows in Australia and New Zealand in September before traveling across North America from coast to coast—including a truly mesmerizing night at The Torch at the L.A. Coliseum on Nov. 2.

A SOFI TUKKER show is often funny, sometimes raunchy and always out-of-this-world as the duo brings their A-game every time. Their music is known for creating unity and bringing people together, making every member of the audience feel like they're part of something bigger, and we can't think of breaking bread as a better symbol for that sense of community.
That energy is immeasurable, coming to life through irresistible beats further elevated by crafty production and live vocals and guitar. The shows they put on are so much more than a simple DJ set, backed by a global sound that feels destined to take over the world. And while they take their sound seriously, their performances are playful, bursting with color and joy, making it easy to leave your woes behind as the whole experience washes over you. Expect pyrotechnics, bright lights and frolicking dance that make you feel like one with the universe.
